Reading here does not require analytics cookies.

Digna Legi is maintained by Ratipcan Uysal. The site uses Vercel Web Analytics for anonymous, aggregate traffic measurement. It does not use cookies, retain an IP address, or build a profile that follows a reader across sites. It reports aggregate visits, page views, referrers, pages and broad technical categories so we can tell whether the site is being found and used. Vercel describes how this data is processed in its Web Analytics privacy documentation.

Google Analytics is a separate, optional layer and stays unloaded unless you choose “Allow analytics”. Declining does not restrict any reading features and does not change the anonymous aggregate measurement described above.

If you allow analytics

Google receives visit and device information, page views, scrolling and outbound-link clicks. We also measure which articles and reading paths are opened and requests for another recommendation. Reading-room events distinguish opening a brief, expanding its details, rating the brief, and rating the original article. Brief ratings carry the brief edition so a revised summary is not confused with an older one. A click or expansion is not evidence that an article was read or completed.

Analytics cookies distinguish browsers and sessions. Advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled in our tag. We do not send your search text or email in our custom events, and strip query strings and fragments from page URLs sent by our tag. Google processes analytics information on its infrastructure; see how Google uses information from sites using its services.

Your choice

Use “Analytics preferences” in the footer to allow or withdraw permission. The choice is stored in this browser for up to 180 days. Withdrawing disables our tag, clears its Analytics cookies and reloads the page. It does not erase data already received by Google. Clearing site storage removes your saved preference; we will ask again.

Brief and article ratings are stored separately in this browser and can be cleared under each article. Without Google Analytics permission, ratings are not sent to us. They do not automatically change scores or Best selections. Your reading text-size preference is also stored locally. Copy link copies only the permanent reading URL, without your search or filters. Reading recommendations use session storage to remember the current suggestion. Hosting processes requests independently of the optional Google Analytics choice. Links to original articles take you to other publishers with their own privacy policies.

AI Evidence Scorecard

The AI Evidence Scorecard calculates in your browser. Worksheet inputs are not uploaded, included in our analytics events, or automatically saved. Reloading loses the working record. Download and print create a local copy containing your inputs; you decide where to keep or share it. Page visits remain subject to the analytics choices described above.

With Google Analytics permission, we record four fixed milestones: starting a record, reaching a complete captured-value calculation, requesting a JSON download, and requesting print. Events distinguish a working record from the hypothetical example. They contain no entered text, numerical inputs or results, evidence notes, currency, owner, or decision. A completed calculation means the required fields are filled, not that the evidence is verified. A download or print request does not prove a file was saved or a page was printed. Events before permission are discarded, not replayed later.
