How the pieces fit together

Evans supplies a worked scenario; Kelly widens the time horizon. Neither turns a chain of plausible consequences into a forecast. The point is to make connections and choices visible, while marking where the evidence ends and speculation begins. Sivers adds a useful tension: some uncertainty is better handled by observing use than by elaborating the forecast. The transfer to product work is an editorial analogy, not a claim that houses and software have identical constraints. Distinguish reversible experiments from commitments you genuinely need to plan in advance.
